Coke Florida Teams Up for Cleaner Coasts: 2025 International Coastal Cleanup

Coming Together for a Cleaner Tomorrow

Every year, millions of volunteers around the world come together for the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) — a global movement organized by Ocean Conservancy to remove trash and debris from our beaches, waterways, and natural spaces. On this day, over 150 countries unite around a single mission: to protect our planet’s oceans and communities.

At Coca-Cola Beverages Florida (Coke Florida), we’re proud to participate in ICC. Each year, our associates, family members, and community partners roll up their sleeves to make a visible difference in the communities where we live, work, and play. The event has become one of our favorite traditions — and a friendly competition through our ICC Territory Challenge, where territories across the state compete to see who can collect the most trash.

Coke Florida’s Impact

This year Coke Florida participated in 17 ICC events across the state, bringing together 360 Coke Florida associates, families, and friends, to clean up sites across the state. Working alongside local community partners, our teams collected an incredible 4,590 pounds of trash and debris from Florida’s coasts, parks, and waterways.

Across the state, our teams showed up with energy, teamwork, and heart. Together, their efforts to clean up the state’s beaches and waterways help protect wildlife, restore natural habitats, and build cleaner spaces for all to enjoy.

And after some friendly competition, this year’s top teams earned their bragging rights:
🥇 1st Place – The Keys
🥈 2nd Place – Ft. Myers
🥉 3rd Place – Palm Beach

A huge thank-you goes out to everyone who participated, volunteered, or supported ICC this year. Your actions truly make a difference — one piece of litter at a time.

Part of Coke Florida’s Larger Commitment to Sustainability

For Coke Florida, ICC is about more than just a day of cleanup — it’s part of our larger commitment to sustainability. Protecting Florida’s waterways directly connects to our sustainability pillars. From our ongoing community recycling initiatives to our partnerships with Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, every effort supports our vision of a cleaner, more resilient future.

Our state is home to some of the most beautiful coastlines, rivers, and natural environments in the country — and we take pride in helping preserve them. Participating in ICC each year allows us to demonstrate our shared responsibility to care for the places that make Florida so special.

Together, we’re building a better future for our communities, our planet, and generations to come — one cleanup at a time.
