2026 Sunshine Bowl Drives Impact Through Sport
Coke Florida Sponsors Special Olympics Florida Fundraising Event, Bringing Athletes of All Abilities Together for Competition in Tampa
Coca-Cola Beverages Florida and Raymond James partnered once again to present the annual Special Olympics Florida Sunshine Bowl, April 17-18. The weekend of activities on and off the field included the One Buc Social, flag football competitions, and a cheer clinic.
Sunshine Bowl is an annual fundraiser for Special Olympics Florida that benefits 85,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities across Florida. The organization provides year-round access to sports, programs and services to empower athletes, and medical care assistance to participants and their families. Coca-Cola Beverages Florida committed to community impact and proudly invests in Special Olympics programming to help bring their mission to life.
The Friday night One Buc Social event featured blackjack, food, Coca-Cola beverages, and inspiring stories from Special Olympics athletes. Coke Florida associates in Tampa attended One Buc Social to meet athletes competing both over the weekend and throughout the year. Coke Florida Chairman and CEO Troy Taylor shared remarks about the Coca-Cola system’s longstanding partnership with Special Olympics beyond Florida. On Saturday, April 18th, the Sunshine Bowl’s main events were a Cheer Clinic led by Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader and flag football competitions across three divisions. Coke Florida associates formed a co-ed team and competed in the Corporate Division.
Throughout the weekend, Coke Florida provided hydration brands Dasani and BOADYARMOR for participating athletes and teams, partners, and volunteers.
