Coke Florida at National Philanthropy Day Breakfast & Awards Celebration, presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Polk County Chapter

Today, on National Philanthropy Day, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is proud to have been honored in the Corporate Philanthropy category at the National Philanthropy Day Breakfast & Awards Celebration, presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Polk County Chapter. Nominated by Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland, this recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve.

Bonnet Springs Park is a Central Florida destination offering community enrichment through nature, culture, recreation, and education. This mission aligns with Coke Florida’s community engagement pillars: Sustainability, Education, and Economic Empowerment.

We regularly host free rain barrel workshops and painting sessions at the park to promote the importance of water conservation and reducing stormwater runoff at home. Our associates volunteer at the park for waste cleanups and we offer a variety of hands-on programs for local families during peak seasons, such as spring break. Coke Florida also supported a recent contribution to the park’s endowment fund via the Taylor Family Impact Foundation. Our partnership with the park demonstrates a strong dedication to providing resources and education on the vital role everyone can play in protecting our environment.

Coke Florida’s investment in Polk County extends far beyond Bonnet Springs Park; we are providing direct support to numerous local organizations, community groups, schools, and municipalities. We are also partnering with our customers on their community initiatives.

We are grateful for today’s recognition by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Polk Chapter and remain committed to making a positive difference in our community.

Happy National Philanthropy Day!
