Here in Florida, Coke Florida’s Holiday Caravan has become a celebration all on its own. Every year, our Caravan of trucks travel across the state from Miami to Tampa, Orlando to Jacksonville, and beyond, spreading holiday cheer everywhere it goes.

Covered in thousands of sparkling lights, the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan truck creates an incredible backdrop for photos and makes every event feel like a moment straight out of a holiday movie.

Where the Magic Began
The Holiday Caravan story starts in 1995, when Coca-Cola released its now-famous “Holidays Are Coming” commercial. If you remember that ad — a glowing convoy of red trucks rolling through a snowy town, lighting up everything in their path — you’re not alone. It quickly became a holiday classic.
What some people may not know is that those original trucks were brought to life with help from Industrial Light & Magic, the legendary effects studio behind Star Wars. The brilliant lights, the snowy scenes, the iconic Coca-Cola Santa — it all came together to create one of the most memorable holiday moments in advertising.
Soon after, the magic stepped off the screen and onto the road. Coca-Cola began sending real, full-size Holiday Caravan trucks into communities, allowing families to experience that moment of sparkle and excitement up close.
