Coke Florida Celebrates 56 Rising Stars and Their Next Chapter
At Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, supporting our associates means celebrating the people and families who are part of their journey. Each year, the Rising Star Program recognizes the achievements of associates’ dependents as they prepare to take their next step after high school.
During the week of July 20, Coke Florida facilities across the state hosted Rising Star celebrations honoring 56 students entering college or military service. The celebrations gave associates, families, leaders, and ASAs an opportunity to come together and recognize an exciting milestone. Each Rising Star was featured in a presentation highlighting their next chapter, including the college they will attend and their intended major or the branch of military service they will enter.
Some facilities marked the occasion with finger foods, cake, breakfast, and donuts, creating an opportunity for families and associates to celebrate together while recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of the Rising Stars.
As part of the program, college-bound Rising Stars received a laptop to support their studies, while those entering military service received a $300 gift card as they begin their journey.
More than a recognition, the Rising Star Program reflects Coke Florida’s commitment to investing in its associates and their families. By supporting these students as they pursue higher education or military service, Coke Florida hopes to help set them up for success in the next chapter of their lives. The program also looks toward the future. As these Rising Stars continue their education and careers, Coke Florida hopes they will keep the company in mind for future internship and career opportunities.
